I'm Joe the Dad, Christina is the Mom. Ayden is our oldest, followed by Zachary, Sofia (my princess), and Jeremiah. Gramps is Richard, Christina's father who is retired U.S. Air Force and a Vietnam Veteran.
Christina and I have been married since 2004. We met in Williamsburg VA serving on active duty in the United States Navy. We both retired from the U.S. Navy and have always dreamed of traveling once we were done serving our country.
Originally we wanted to purchase a catamaran to sail around the Caribbean and beyond. Of course life doesn't always go as planned and due to health concerns we found a new dream.
Our new dream, traveling with our children, expanding their world views, and experiencing as much as possible during our lives. Our plan is to move to Thailand and take trips from there to explore southeast Asia. How long we stay in Thailand is unknown to us. It could be six months or 10 years.
The primary purpose of this blog is to share our journey with family, friends and one day our children's children. Alternatively we hope to meet like minded families to learn from and share our experiences.
